Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Jet Lens, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("JetLens"), and govern your use of the JetLens platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our End User License Agreement (the "EULA"), which governs licensing and intellectual-property ownership. If you are signing up on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the organization you represent.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
  • Scrape, bulk-extract, or otherwise harvest data beyond normal use.
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written consent.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content.
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to circumvent its security measures.

3. Intellectual property; license

The Service and all software underlying it — source code, user interfaces, designs, data models, AI features, and documentation — are and remain the exclusive property of Jet Lens, LLC, protected by U.S. copyright law, with a copyright registration application filed with the U.S. Copyright Office. Your subscription is a limited right of access, not a sale: no ownership of, or rights in, the software transfer to you or your organization, and you may not represent the Service as your own product. The full license terms, including these ownership provisions, are in the End User License Agreement, which controls over these Terms for licensing and intellectual-property matters.

4. Data ownership

You own the data you and your organization upload to JetLens ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Customer Data solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service, and as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where reasonably practicable.

6. Fees

Fees, if applicable to your plan, are stated at signup or in a separate order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and are due in advance for the billing period. Taxes are your responsibility where applicable.

7. Termination

  • Either party may terminate at any time with 30 days' written notice.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other users.
  • For 30 days after termination we will keep your Customer Data available for export. After that period it is deleted subject to retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Aviation compliance disclaimer

JetLens helps you track maintenance, compliance, and quality data. It does not replace your own regulatory obligations or the judgment of your certified personnel. You remain responsible for determining and meeting the requirements of your operating authority (FAA, EASA, ANAC, DGAC, or other).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post the revised version here or notify you by email. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
